Nallabotu Shakuntala, a middle aged divorced woman, had been struggling to make ends meet.
Participation in Asmitha’s group lending program enabled her to receive and repay small loans until she was able to expand her business of selling milk. She owns 4 buffaloes now and has a leased plot where she cultivates betel leaves.
